OTT Platforms and online shows have become the new IN thing because of which most of us have become couch zombies. Zombies with that blue flash like thing in front of our eyes every night!!!

Yes, mobile phones are one of the key factors of getting dark circles accompanied with work stress, emotional stress and unhealthy lifestyle. We all do suffer from dark circles, but its always good to overcome this by taking care of our body. We can make “taking care of our body” a habit if things are accessible and within our reach. So, I am going to share three ways to reduce dark circles with kitchen vegetables.

1. TOMATO

BENEFITS: Tomatoes are rich in vitamin C and contains 95% water, 4% Carbohydrate and 1% fat & Protein. Vitamin C is great for reducing skin pigmentation and dark circle. Additionally, it contains lycopene which helps in reducing cardiovascular diseases and cancer.

METHOD:

  • Cut the tomatoes into round pieces.
  • Apply on your eyes.
  • Sit back, relax and listen to music for 15 mins.
  • Wash your eyes and face with cold water.
  • Repeat this twice a week for visible results.

2. POTATO

BENEFITS:Potatoes are rich in potassium and magnesium, which hydrates the skin and helps to reduce wrinkles. It is also rich in Vitamin C which helps in enhancing the production of collagen, which in turn protects the damaged skin and reduces dark circle.

METHOD:

  • Grade the potato and extract the juice
  • Mix very little turmeric powder on the juice.
  • Dip fresh cotton pad on the juice and apply on your eyes.
  • Sing a song for 15 mins.
  • Wash your eyes and face with cold water.
  • Repeat this twice a week for visible results.

3. CUCUMBER

BENEFITS: Cucumber consists of 96% water and it completely hydrates the skin. It consists of Vitamin K, C, Beta-carotene and Manganese which are great for healthy skin and hair.

METHOD:

  • Cut the cucumber into round pieces.
  • Apply on your eyes.
  • Do whatever you want to do for 20 mins.
  • Wash your eyes and face with cold water.
  • Repeat five times a week.

These are very easy tips which one can follow every day, however the permanent solution to get rid of dark circle is to avoid stress, eat healthy and be happy.
